This guide explains which mods are allowed on PeanutSMP. Not every mod in existence is listed. If you are unsure after reading this page, open a ticket in Discord and staff will review it.
Status Guide
These labels define how each mod can be used while playing on PeanutSMP.
Allowed with Restrictions
Allowed only when specific features are disabled to keep gameplay fair.
Not Allowed
These mods are prohibited and can lead to punishments.
Missing Mods
If a mod is not listed, submit it in a Discord ticket for review.
Allowed Mods
- Performance mods (Optifine, Sodium, Indium, Lithium. Open a ticket if yours is not listed.)
- Personal cosmetic texture packs or mods (Shaders, capes, Visuality, Effective. Open a ticket if yours is not listed.)
- Just Enough Items (JEI)
- Zooming mods (Zoomify, Optifine, and similar)
- Fullbright (Gamma Utils)
- Chat-enhancing mods (Chat Heads, Compact Chat, Stendhal, and similar)
- Sound mods (Ambient Sounds, and similar)

Allowed with Restrictions
- MacroKeybindsUse for single actions only (example: /home). Do not chain multiple actions in sequence (example: /spawn then /home).
- Mini-map modsEntity radar and cave/underground features must be disabled.
- Xaero's MapBlock map settings -> Cave mode: OFF. Entity Radar Settings -> Display Radar: OFF.
- LitematicaPrinter and EasyPlace/Air Place are not allowed.
- Autosorters (chests or inventories)Allowed, but may flag anticheat. Use at your own risk.
Not Allowed
- StepUp
- Autoclickers or any click enhancement/modification that automates clicking
- Any mod that replicates Bedrock-style scaffolding placement
- FreeCam or any camera mod that detaches your viewpoint from your player
- Cut Through
- Inventory Move
- Any mod that removes fog under lava
- World Downloader
- Do A Barrel Roll (flags anticheat)
- Any mod that automatically aims for you (bows, swords, and similar)
- Baritone or any AFK mining tool
